Beyond The Rain Clouds

it's dark and it's dreary with the rain coming down
the clouds are all grey and it's wet all through town
i think of my problems that i can't explain why
but i can see blue trough a break in the sky

often it seems that there's more dark than light
it's been gloomy all day and then it's time for the night
it's been raining for days and it doesn't seem fair
but though the sun may be hiding, you still know it's there
